Summary: This bill would require health care facilities to allow visitation by any visitor designated by a patient. The bill would also prohibit employment, public accommodations, and housing discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity, and would establish penalties for non-capital criminal offenses motivated by the victim’s sexual orientation, gender identity, or other traits.
