Summary: This bill would require several state agencies to determine whether civil union partners have experienced problems in gaining access to equal benefits and protections. It would also provide that Connecticut recognizes same-sex unions validly entered into in other states as civil unions, when the unions are substantially equivalent to civil unions in Connecticut.
