Nondisclosure of Sexual Orientation among a Sample of Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual Youth

In this Rand Corporation study only 39% percent of participating GLB youth said that their physician was aware of their sexual orientation. Participants in the study were 131 youth aged 14 to 18 years who identified themselves as GLB. The study was conducted at a Los Angeles youth empowerment conference held in October 2003.
