HRC archives a collection of Sermons and Spiritual Reflections by pro-GLBT clergy from across the country. Drawing from the holy texts of their faith traditions, the authors of each selection present perspectives that affirm the lives of the GLBT faithful and advocate for equality from their faith tradition. The collection’s interview transcriptions, sermons, coming out worship celebrations and spiritual contemplations are ideal for either group study or individual reflection.
Excerpt:
“That’s what it was for me. I was certain, at the age of 10 when I first knew I was different from other little boys, that I would never fully belong to the human race. Terrified by this truth, I endeavored for the next three and a half decades to hide… not behind commas, but behind the appearance of being normal.”
