Protects transgender students? No
Michigan has a general "Statewide school safety information policy" that provides requirements under which a school must follow when instances take place at school that require law enforcement intervention. MCLS § 380.1308 (2002). In addition, if a pupil enrolled in grade six or above commits a physical assault at school against another pupil, the student may be expelled or suspended. MCL § 380.1310 (2002).
