Long-term relationships are here to stay
by Sarah Alberding
I'm 23 years old and have been in a committed relationship for almost four years. "My girl" has two daughters from a previous marriage. Both of them love me very much and tell me all the time how they think I'm as good as a daddy, or better.
Right now, my partner and I are about six hours away from each other. Soon I will be living with her, and I can't wait.
So many of you may be thinking, "What does this girl want us to get out of this?" I just wanted you all to know that a relationship with good communication and mutual love will succeed. Don't give up hope on your family because being a different kind of family can be difficult. You have to stick together. Long-term relationships are here to stay! Who says we can't make it?
"Live as though you already are the person you wish to be."
