Bobbie, Lelia and Me
Bobbie Bayless and I have been together for more than 27 years. My daughter, Lelia, was just 4 when we first met.
Our Life Together
We are Frank Benedetti, 64, and Gary Trowbridge, 63, and we’ve been together for 39 years. Frank, who was born in the Bronx, was an officer in the U.S. Army and obtained the rank Captain before his enlistment was over. Gary, who was born in Kanappolis, N. C., and raised in Augusta, Ga., served four years in the U.S. Air Force, obtaining the rank of Airman Third Class before his enlistment was finished.
Coming Out as a Happily Married Bisexual
In my mid-20s, I married a woman, and now, 21 years later, we are still monogamous and happy. The people we meet assume I am straight. This has always bothered me, but until recently I couldn’t see how it was anything but my own private business. Without really thinking about it, the closet closed around me.
You deserve the best
I’ve always dreamed of getting married. Not just for the white dress, the flowers, the dancing till the wee hours of the morning, but for more than that. I’ve dreamed of marrying the one that I love in the company of my closest friends and family with their love and support.
Blessings from truth and love
When I was little, I always felt uncomfortable when my friends would talk about the men they would marry. I felt like an outsider, as if their dreams of the future were not mine.
The Path to Health for All People
We support and advocate full equality for all people in any family grouping, without regard to sexual orientation.
