Minnesota Birth Certificate Law: Gender Identity Issues

Issues a new or amended birth certificate? Yes.
Minnesota law provides that birth registrants may make general amendments to their birth certificate information. The state registrar of Minnesota has confirmed that Minnesota courts will issue new birth certificates to post-operative transsexuals.
