Montana Birth Certificate Law: Gender Identity Issues

Issues a new or amended birth certificate? Yes.
Montana law provides that a transsexual individual born in Montana may amend his or her birth certificate upon receipt of a court order that the individual has undergone sex-reassignment surgery.
