No provision of Idaho law addresses gender identity-based discrimination. Idaho Code § 67-5901 (2001).
Sexual orientation protected? No
No provision of Idaho law explicitly addresses discrimination based on sexual orientation. Statewide non-discrimination laws cover only race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age and disability. As yet, no court has found sexual orientation discrimination actionable under these provisions. Idaho Code §§ 67-5901 (2001); 18-7301 (2001); and 18-7303 (2001).
