D.C. Sodomy Law

In 1993, the District of Columbia sodomy law was revised to eliminate consensual, non-commercial sex acts between adults -- and in 1995, the Sexual Assault Reform bill completely removed sodomy laws from the district code. In April 2004, the district also repealed a law against fornication following passage of the Elimination of Outdated Crimes Amendment Act.
